Creative Community Promotions has developed technical workshop programming to help your community members strengthen their voices and enhance their communication tactics on professional and personal levels. These programs and platforms are suited to all age demographics and can be customized depending on your needs.

The Power of Your Voice
Discover the power behind your voice. Find your confidence and be empowered.
The Power of Your Voice (POYV) is a program consisting of 8, 1.5-hour workshop sessions that will enable youth in your community to develop their communication & leadership skills through practical experience. These workshops are designed to build self-esteem and boost self-confidence. The POYV workshops teach participants how to confidently reach out, speak up, and value themselves. Over the course of the 8-week program, Creative Community Promotions will also involve a wide range of guest speakers, who provide additional perspective and inspiration.
Through the POYV workshops, participants will learn the following valuable skills:
Public speaking and delivering impromptu presentations
Building self-confidence and empowerment
Controlling and leveraging the power of non-verbal communication
Preparing an effective speech
Providing constructive feedback and support to peers
Communicating your needs
At the end of the 8-week program, participants will have the opportunity to showcase what they learned and will receive a certificate of completion. Family members of participants are encouraged to attend. Our goal is to inspire youth members to find their voice and realize the power behind it.
Socialize Your Businesses
A virtual guide & introduction to the social media world.
Let’s face it, the world has gone digital. We understand that the digital world can be intimidating, and many people and businesses just don’t know where to start. CCP’s Socialize Your Business workshop will show you how you can effectively communicate with your audience across all relevant online platforms. This workshop will help you break down your goals and find the perfect digital strategy to achieve them.
Over the course of this program, participants will learn the tools and skills required to operate and advertise their business using social media. Once the initial training is complete, participants will also have access to a one-to-one, two-hour training session with the program facilitator. This program can be taught to a group of people or can be modified to suit a small group or one-on-one setting.
All participants will receive a comprehensive slideshow presentation to use as a resource tool once the course is completed and will have access to the facilitator for technical support for two weeks following program completion.
Covid Modification: For larger groups, we will be using Zoom. Zoom workshops will use a shared screen so participants can follow along and view all necessary visuals and demonstrations.

There are two ways you can look at social media: as a tool for isolation, or a tool for connection. At CCP, we know that social media is much more powerful when used as a tool to connect you to like minded people.
The Building your Virtual Community workshop aims to offer support to those who are new to social media and digital tools. We can’t always choose who our neighbours are, however we do have the ability to build our own online neighbourhood filled with positive people, helpful resources, and different sources of entertainment. How can you possibly understand all the technical capabilities of all these different platforms? Now more than ever, we need to reach out to online resources and find ways to be entertained from the comfort of our homes.
