Meet Sherry Benson-Podolchuk our Master of Ceremonies. Retired RCMP officer, author, speaker, advocate, and TEDx speaker!

Sherry is an author, speaker, and expert in workplace bullying and harassment. With 20 years of experience as a Royal Canadian Mounted Police officer, she has faced it all and now shares her knowledge and tools to help others. She has presented at TEDx Winnipeg, universities, service groups, and international conferences, and has been featured as a subject matter expert by media and government agencies. Sherry's passion for helping others led her to receive the Canada 150 Senate Medal for her efforts in speaking out against workplace harassment and its effects on mental health. As a trainer and coach with the Canadian Institute of Workplace Bullying Resources, Sherry continues to empower individuals to overcome workplace bullying and conflict, improve leadership skills, and believe in the power of their own voices. We are so lucky to have Sherry along for the journey with us as we learn to navigate through the entrepreneurial world.

Empowerment is the process of becoming stronger and more confident, especially in controlling one's life and claiming one's rights. Our Keynote speaker Samantha Hampton has been …

Building entrepreneurial relationships across rural Manitoba since 2019. Her career has been dedicated to helping build powerful and healthy communities with an emphasis on empowering individuals, organizations, and businesses to communicate effectively both visually and verbally.

Samantha was a recipient of Manitoba's 2020 Future 40 Under 40 award by the CBC. In 2021, Manitoba’s Lieutenant Governor wrote Samantha a letter acknowledging her entrepreneurial efforts as a change-maker and leader in her community. Creating change didn’t always come easy to Samantha. Self-doubt & Imposters Syndrome weighed Samantha down until she found herself settling for less than she deserved. Societal pressures, being a mother, lack of early achievements and education, and a copious amount of people telling her she “couldn’t do it” held her back from discovering who she was and exposing her to the opportunities that would soon await her.

Samantha is here to share how her journey of being told “no” not only by others but mostly by herself stunted her ability to jump and take risks in her life. Samantha is 35 years old and is now an author, speaker, president of the Chamber of Commerce, business owner, mentor, community leader and advocate, and single mother juggling it all and finding the balance didn’t happen overnight.

Learn how to harness your self-doubt and find the confidence you need to pressure your entrepreneurial dreams. Take your self-doubt and turn it into your secret weapon. Samantha is ready to share her relationship with self-doubt with our guests. Before you know it your performance will be enhanced, your leadership skills renewed, and in all areas of both your professional and personal life you will notice a change. Quiet the voice in your head that tells you “no” by saying “yes” to taking that one step forward towards success.
