Tips for newsletter submission

We often hear people say, “I’m just not a writer,” or “I wouldn’t know where to start.” But we’d hate to let those excuses come between your story and your community.

If you’ve got a story to share with Our Social Community, here are some tips to make it simple and impactful.

01

Tell your story to yourself before you write it

The best voice to write in is your own. So, if you’re stressing about language, try recording yourself telling your story and write down your words after. You can use an audio recording device on your phone or computer, or even film a video. This can help alleviate stress about writing capabilities and also keep your personal tone authentic.

02

Prioritize your photography

We hate to use cliches, but… a picture really is worth a thousand words. If you can take a strong photo, your story will certainly be memorable. Click on the link below to access a helpful video on how to take quality photos with your phone.
